What kinds of drinks can SipScan identify?
All major alcohol categories: wine, whiskey, bourbon, scotch, beer, gin, rum, vodka, tequila, and more. If it has a label, SipScan reads it.
How accurate is the identification?
SipScan uses GPT-5 mini Vision for label analysis and returns a confidence-scored result. You can correct or refine results, and the model improves over time.
Where do the price estimates come from?
Estimates are AI-generated based on broad market data and labeled as such. A future release will integrate real-time pricing through Wine-Searcher and similar APIs.
Is SipScan available worldwide?
SipScan is launching in the US App Store first and will expand globally. The app is rated 17+ in compliance with App Store policies.
How much does SipScan cost?
Free to try, then $6.99/week or $49.99/year for unlimited scans, full collection management, and the food pairing engine.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your App Store settings. You can cancel any time before the renewal date.
Does SipScan work on Android?
SipScan is currently iPhone only and designed for iOS 15 and later.
